In February, we received a call for help in regards to these ten cuties.
At the time, we were already overwhelmed and at over capacity at the shelter.
These ten puppies lived inside a cement pipe with their dog parents,
so we regularly checked and made sure that the Mum had enough nutrition to keep breastfeeding all ten pups.
It’s been a month since then, and all the babies have grown up.
They started to crawl outside the pipe and explore the area,
but unfortunately right next to their home is a main road.
We knew we had to make a plan to help this big dog family.
So we began to find several volunteers who can help share the responsibility of taking care them,
whilst also organising the parents to get neutered.
We greatly appreciate all the help these volunteers has given us,
as taking care of ten puppies requires a lot of work such as softening the dog food and cleaning up their poo and pee!
Finally, we can now welcome these babies at our rescue shelter
and we hope they all can find great homes with the assistance of our fantastic volunteers.
In Chinese we have an idiom, “shí quán shí měi” which means be perfect in every respect.
“Shí “means ten, měi means beauty and “quǎn” is harmonic for dogs.
We believe these ten cuties will have great future like the meaning of the slogan.
Take a look at how adorable they are!
